Sant Antoni
Sant Antoni is the most popular holiday for Majorcans. Traditionally, the festival has been associated with a moment of purification, represented in the public street with the lighting of bonfires. Around the fire one warms up – in one of the coldest times of the year – and chats with the villagers, but also roasts pork and, above all, sings and there is live music dancing.
The gangs of Devils have taken an increasingly key role in this festivity, organizing gunpowder and firecrackers - corrues that seek to emulate the fight against the Devil.
