Market
As in any eminently agricultural and maritime territory, trade has been one of the backbones of Mallorcan society. Products of the earth (almonds, carobs and olives), animals (pigs, lambs, fish) and their derivatives (wool, eggs, sausages), as well as other useful products (clothing and accessories, straw, agricultural material), they have been bought and traded by its inhabitants for centuries.
It is not surprising, then, that as their ancestors did, the giants continue to "go to their place". Currently, both they and visitors can do it every Wednesday, from eight in the morning to one in the afternoon, in the town of Andratx and every Saturday in S'Arracó.
